Bodenwache is a small temperature and humidity data logger installed on the underside of a floor plank. It lets your customers keep track of the temperature and relative humidity in and under their floor, and it alerts them in the Wagner Sentry® app when conditions go outside the range they’ve set.
That makes them more aware of changes in their home’s conditions that could affect the floor.
Wood naturally gains and loses moisture as the relative humidity around it changes, so if a home goes through a major shift in temperature and humidity, the floor will follow. Cupping or warping can be the result.
